LET IT BE KNOWN, That it is with the utmost respect and admiration that we honor James Heos upon the celebration of his thirty years with the law firm of ChurchWyble. It is definitely a privilege to recognize a gentleman who has contributed so much of his time and talents to benefit our legal system in Michigan.
He is passionate and ethical advocate for individual rights under the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Michigan.
A 1975 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, James Heos is well known throughout Ingham County. During law school, he worked for the Genessee County Prosecutor's Office and the Michigan Attorney General's Office. Since passing the bar in 1976, James has worked for the Lansing City Attorney's office, the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office and for the past thirty years he has worked for the law firm of ChurchWyble as an associate and then as managing partner.
In addition to his work in the courtroom, James Heos has also been an active member of the community. He has served in the parish council for Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church, is a founding member of the Michigan Bar Foundation, is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association and Inns of the Court, and volunteers his time to judge moot court competitions at Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Michigan State University College of Law.
